Here it is! Months worth of good work, and boom! Here it is! Again! The most important literary work I've ever produced! It Lies in States, 68 pages of 50 states and about 30 illustrations. No matter which state you're from, you'll find yourself here, and you'll fine a slice of life that you...well, probably won't agree with. However, these are slices of my life, slices that reflect my experiences in this fantastic country of our. Experiences like hiking on bits of the Appalacian Trail in New Jersey, like meeting burnt-out elder artists in Maryland, and like discussing the rash of meth-heads in Missouri.
The illustrations are charming, the poetry is simple and spontaneous. I formatted it all on my computadora, and I did all the printing on a machine I bought only a few days ago. The books are bound by nuts and bolts, and each has a fabric cover with the title stamped on (I can't promise the covers will look like the pictures, some of them are made from old scarves, and there are only so many of those around here!). These are so neat!
I love 'em!
