A design aimed at teaching a complete beginner a number of textured and raised stitches. It is screened onto pale green silk dupion fabric or cream silk dupion, and perle thread has been used, making it easy for a beginner to master crewel embroidery if they have never tried it before. The more experienced embroiderer can experiment with more advanced stitches.
A full kit is supplied including design screened onto silk, backing, needles, 10 sheins of perle 8, setof instructions, full stitch glossary, 2 colour photographs and the wooden base. Design measures 3 inches or 7.5cm in diameter.
All of my designer kits are beautifully packaged and presented in sturdy carrier bags, making them very suitable as gifts.
