All maps used for making these envelopes are from old atlases. Since I work at the public library, I get to see what is to be discarded, and get to take them home if I like ;)
Since the envelopes are handmade, they do not have any adhesive for sealing. To seal your envelopes, you would need to improvise with tape, glue, stickers or wax. (or if you want something more subtle, I suggest you use roll-on stationery glue -- which looks like roll-on white out -- which you can find at any business depot)
