There are 21 affirmation words stitched into the plain green and pink pieces. These words are: faith, believe, laugh, heal, love, dream, peace, breathe, worship, grace, hope, sing, pray, seek, truth, blessed, shine, rejoice, trust, energy, and alive.
The fabric on the front of the quilt is from Kaffe Fassett’s collection, they are beautiful flowers and dots making up a garden. The backing is one piece of lime green with little circles.
The quilting is done free-motion on my sewing machine. The design is an all over floral, swirls, leaves, and fun. No two inches are the same, no pattern repeats! The words are also machine free-motion stitched thru the layers.
This is a generous lap quilt measuring 42 x 60 inches.
I have not washed this quilt. Washing will make it more crinkly and soft and huggable. Please wash in gentle cycle with warm water, Dry in warm drier until almost dry, then hang or lie flat on the bed to finish drying. (prevents shrinking - fabrics are cotton)
