this little guy is a perfect way to remind yourself not to fall asleep at work! made of solid cast iron, he measures 3.5" X 1.5" x 3.5" and has a pale sage distressed finish. he would also make a fantastic addition to any kitchen window sill!
a little note about my cast iron pieces...
i find these at salvage or antique shops, generally all rusty and unloved. though they look like they are from years past when i find them, they are generally reproductions. i take them home, sand off the crud, give 'em a fresh coat of paint, distress them a tad, and finish it all off with a polyurethane coating. they deserve a second chance... won't you be the one to give it to them?
