Knit these wonderful lampshade covers yourself! They are so much fun to knit, once you finish one you won't be able to stop, you'll want to make them for every lamp in your house! Pattern includes directions for two sizes (see below). Cozy up your room with a sweater for your lampshade:)
Covers are designed to fit over "Mix & Match" lampshades labeled "small" and "medium" sold at Target Stores.
The small size Target lampshades have a 5" top diameter, 10" bottom diameter and are 7" high. The cover stretches so it can accommodate a lampshade with a top diameter between 4-6", a bottom diameter between 9-11" and a height between 6-8".
The medium size Target lampshades have a 6" top diameter, 15" bottom diameter and are 10" high. The cover stretches to fit a lampshade with a 5-7" top diameter, 14-16" bottom diameter and a height between 9-11". If you have a different size shade, the cover can be made shorter or longer just knit fewer rows for a shorter cover or continue the pattern to make it longer.

Materials needed:
16" and 29" circular knitting needles in size 13
100 yards of super bulky weight yarn for the small cover and 160 yards of super bulky weight yarn for the medium cover
stitch markers
cable needle
