I have made full sized ED-209 that rests in my backyard but weighs over 300 pounds! For fun, I have made Mini-ED! Mini-ED is made from recycled computer parts and other metals. He has a 90 degree pivoting center, allowing him to swing from side to side. The main head/body is made from a power supply housing from an old computer. The legs and head are made of spent propane bottles. The entire piece is put together with MIG welding process. It has 2 coats of cold galvanizing primer, followed by a mix of blue and gray paint and then finished with coats of clear gloss.
Mini-ED stands 13-1/2 inches tall, 15 inches from arm to arm and is 8 inches deep.
A quick note: this is NOT a toy! It is made of metal and has sharp edges and corners. Please do not let children play with it!
