Etsy Business Manager is easy to use. The hard work of preparing the worksheets has already been done—all you have to do is populate the spreadsheets with your information each month.
You will receive one Microsoft Excel file (Business Manager-Miss Sideburns.xls). In this file are 8 different Managers (Home, Time, Contact, Sales, Costs, Inventory, Bank, Reports).
Home—This is a homepage that allows you to click and go to the different Managers (navigation is like the web).
Time—This Manager allows you to keep track of your work hours and aids in productivity reports.
Contact—This Manager organizes all of the sellers, businesses, and customers you work with.
Sales—This Manager records all of your sales and applicable detail.
Costs—This Manager tracks what you spend on your business.
Inventory—This Manager stores your inventory list, tracks posting dates, expiration dates, days remaining until expiration, and listing and selling fees.
Bank—This Manager aids in tracking your cash flow. It is also a tool to reconcile your bank account.
Reports—This Manager is what makes Etsy Business Manager such a great program. If you keep data entered into the above Managers, every month the Reports Manager will automatically create: 7 visual graphs on how your Etsy shop is performing, 3 profitability indicators, 3 productivity analysis, 10 sale functions and ratios, 2 cost analysis figures, and 4 inventory calculations. These reports are not hard to understand. I have written these for the average Etsy business owner to understand and use. Just imagine, each month you will have a clear and concise picture of how your Etsy shop is performing—it’s like having your own personal accountant every month. I have also included notes on how to use the reports to make better business decisions about your shop.
The Business Manager is also available in a version that can handle sales tax or the currency of your choice. Just ask!
Also included with this purchase is a starting instruction sheet in Microsoft Word. I have also included over 120 instructions in every important cell in the program. All you have to do is scroll your mouse over the cell and it tells you what to enter, how to enter it, and what is being calculated. Each Manager also has its own instruction sheet as a note.
This product is great for Etsy shops, but I also designed it for boutiques, craft fairs, Ebay, and personal sales. You can also modify this program to specifically fit the needs of your Etsy shop. Note: You must have Microsoft Excel or OpenOffice installed on your computer to run this program. This program is also mac compatible if you have Microsoft Excel or OpenOffice installed on your mac.
