This purse is a mini version of "Small Pleasures" and was created for those of you who do not want a large purse, but would like to have this version.
This purse is made of an off white cotton canvas on the outside and the inside is of a cotton fabric covered in soft green and brown trees. The purse is decorated with a bird sitting on a branch that I have drawn and appliqued onto the front of the purseand the design wraps around to the back of the purse. The bag measures 12" wide by 12 1/2" tall and contains 6 large pockets for all those things that generally end up in the bottom of the purse. It also has an adjustable handle so it can be easily carried.
*****The applique is created using Ultra Suede and the buttons are created of fallen wood so that no animals or trees are harmed creating my purses.
The flap on the top of the purse is secured with a magnetic snap and a large handmade wooden button is used to add contrast and texture to the appearance of the purse. Other handmade buttons are used to decorate the handle of the purse. ( Please note that the wood buttons will vary with the type of wood available.)
Everything has been double sewn and the stress areas have triple stitching. Batting has been placed between the lining and outer fabrics to give the bag a very soft and yet durable feel.
My purses are all designed, created, and shipped by me. At times, according to the number of orders, I do get behind. Everything is done by hand. I draw my designs and cut each individually. Each purse is unique and an individual creation.
This purse has plenty of room for a nice getaway or a shopping trip.
