This sweater was hand knitted by an avid knitter that had moved from the East Coast to Las Vegas about 25 years ago. She was destashing her yarn that she had stored up in boxes and found this sweater in one of the boxes. I sniffled a little because I could not believe how beautiful this is and the condition it is in. It is really unfortunate that she can't knit anymore due to severe arthritis. I did tell her about Etsy :)
