Do you need a good cuppa joe in the morning to get you going? Does your mug sometimes seem a bit too hot to handle? If so, make one of these quick, fun mug cozies and keep your fingers cool! Takes a small amount of yarn to make, so it’s a great stashbuster project and great gift or stocking stuffer for the coffee lover in your life.
You will need a H/8 (5.00 mm) hook and approx. 50 yards of worsted weight cotton yarn, a 3/4 to 1 inch button, and a darning needle to complete. Very quick project, and fun too! Pictures included in pattern for reference.
A quick note: If you want a larger cozy, add 2 rows and increase your button loop by 2 chains. This makes a nice size for taller mugs!
