FOUND OBJECTS are so cool! I cast this work from a shell I found at the Cape May, NJ beach. I love the shape and texture of it, very tough and edgy but with lots of style.
Cast into recycled sterling silver that I blackened and matte, satin finished so it's not too shiny. Comes in a gift box as shown in the last photo, ready for giving.
The length of the pendant is 2 1/4 inches and it reminds me of a timeworn, antique knife. I strung it onto an 18" leather cord, it can be worn alone but also looks great layered with other necklaces from my wrought collection.
