HOW IT’S MADE
I love to use my own illustrations in my designs, so this wedding invitation has love birds and branches with three shades of Autumn leaves dangling from the ends, digitally drawn, on all three pages and on the response postcard placed in different positions and even in flight! As the pages go on, the love birds are perched closer together to symbolize the union. The coverlet is a 80 lb. hopsack textured chocolate brown card stock. The attached pages and response postcard are printed on elegant ivory linen textured card stock. The entire invitation is hand-cut and scored, and is strung together by a gorgeous crimson red shimmering woven 7/8" ribbon.
My favorite part of this invitation is the 6-layer acrylic hand-painted maple leaf that is attached to the ribbon tendril, and strung up to the knotl. I use six shades of rustic Autumn colors for each leaf, on both sides, to create an extra flare and unique quality to your invitation. Like real Autumn leaves, not one is the exact same as another!
The coverlet is folded on the right-hand side to create a pocket with a red card stock strip in the back of the booklet pages to hold the rsvp postcard securely in place! The rsvp postcard is customizable, and can either be a simple attendee generator, or you may add your dinner entrée choices also. A single bird sits on the end of your name! I almost always design my invitation suites with a postcard style response card to keep the cost down. Postcards only require a $0.32 stamp, rather than the normal $0.45 First Class stamp (prices as of 1/22/12), AND you don’t have the cost of a response card envelope. (but... you may choose a traditional response card with ivory linen envelope for and additional $.20 per invitation.)

- Nearby or site overnight accommodation lists - $.15 ea.
Each invitation is made specifically for your day, so ask about different options to fit your style/theme... if you can dream it, I can make it happen! Final quantity orders will not be printed until you approve your digital proof.
**Please note that your invitations are made only by my two hands... so orders in quantities of 50 or more require about 4-6 weeks for production (during off-season months, November-March), and 6-8 weeks for production (during peak-season months, April-October) - from order purchase date. Rush orders are normally no problem, but please add $.50 to each invitation set.
