My jewelry is created from solid copper, brass, sterling silver, cultured pearls, Swarovski Crystals, vintage treasures and other odds and ends; and the sentiments and sayings are all hand-stamped.
Where some see trash, I see possibilities and history. I love to repurpose things, and this gives my jewelry a whimsical and sentimental feeling. I also love imperfections; in my jewelry and in my life. They keep things interesting.
The industrial nature of my work was most influenced by my Father and Grandfather. My Dad was a steelworker, and he raised me with an appreication for metals of all kinds. My granfather was an avid collector of the discarded, and he passed along the thrill of the hunt to me.
