Santa is made of stuffed quilter’s muslin that has been painted and sanded, then painted and sanded again, giving the fabric a rich patina that feels like old leather. All the details are entirely painted (not drawn with pens or pencils) using acrylic paint and teeny tiny paintbrushes. His arms are button jointed, allowing them to be posed. He is embellished with creamy white antique buttons. He has a wooden base, allowing him to stand nicely.
Like each of our pieces, this one is entirely made by our own hands. Individually sewn and painted, Santa is made in a limited edition of 9. Each piece is signed, dated, and numbered by us, Dylan and Jo.
The exact piece pictured has been sold, but we've already begun work on the next one in the series. It will look very much like the one pictured, but allow for minor differences since they are all hand painted. Once payment is received, please give us about a week to finish it for you.
Since we're making this just for you, we're happy to included customizations such as color changes (making him a one-of-a-kind).
