Teardrop shaped earrings with a dichotomous pattern. Unlike the net-like venation systems of most plants, ferns and ginkgos exhibit an open pattern where roughly parallel veins fork repeatedly producing a tree-like structure of Y-shaped nodes.
The pattern was grown in our computer simulation of leaf venation and etched from a sheet of stainless steel and plated with black chrome.
