Oh the possibilities: How about for bridesmaids’ gifts, birthday goody bags, teacher’s gifts? As a centerpiece, how about personalizing with the happy couples new monogram on each table, or mark table numbers for receptions, or three bags clustered together on a buffet table or mantle with one bag for each honoree and the center bag displaying a heart-encased “and”? Or three bags displaying the message “Happy” “Birthday” “America”?
These bags are carefully crafted from a premium, all natural jute fabric (think burlap but with a tighter weave and a bit more refinement) with a label (3.50” x 2.75”) of the most wonderful chalk cloth so you customize each bag for any occasion, any recipient. Use chalk or Chalk Markers as I prefer, and yes, they wipe clean for use over and over again, the ultimate in living green and great!
So many ways to use them and so many ways to close them ... or not. So I will leave it up to you to provide the decorative clothes pin, binder clip or festive ribbon; or simply fold down the top and let your beautiful contents overflow. However, if you are particularly partial to my black herringbone weave ribbons, you may add that option to your order. You will find sets of 4 herringbone ribbons in my "extras" section.
Approximately 8-inches tall by 6-inches wide with a 3-inch gusset. They are sized perfectly to be used as goody bags for party favors, for potted plants, or to disguise a sad mass-produced vase with charm and personalization.
Of course, because I am rather persnickety about construction, seams are serged and all raw edges are finished.
Please note that burlap is not machine washable. Also, jute is not colorfast. It will fade over time in bright light, both natural and artificial.
