Gentle SNOW Fall Over Wyoming Mixed Media Encaustic Vintage Map Painting

In this encaustic mixed media painting, a blackbird sits in the branches of a tree in the clouds watching the gentle snow fall over Wyoming. I have painted on a vintage map of Wyoming. White encaustic paint highlights this painting and brown oil paint is rubbed around the edge to highlight the texture.

Image size approx 12 inches x 12 inches x 1 5/8 inch.

Painted on a cradled birch panel. The wood edging is stained brown.
