Note: This kit should be USED IN THE LAST MONTH OF PREGNANCY when you are ready to have your baby. Henna has been practiced on pregant women for many years without harm to mother or baby but to be on the safe side it is best to practice this one rule so as not to cause early labor.
Designed by a pro henna artist, with the beginner in mind. This kit uses a simple recipe and the worlds finest Rajasthani henna to create the darkest staining henna yet. Due to the sensitivity of some expectant mothers, we use lavender oil instead of cajeput.
If you will be doing very elaborate henna, it is suggested that you buy a refill kit as well, giving you an additional bottle of henna. Purchasing this kit first will be necessary to obtain directions and tools for use.
Hint: The better you take care of it, the longer it will last. Directions for this are included in the kit, however we sell an excellent natural henna balm for $2, which will insure a much longer life when used daily.

Henna is a natural plant used in India and Africa for adorning the skin. The leaves of the henna plant are finely ground and then mixed to form a paste, which is then used to draw on the skin. Also known as Mhendi, it has been used for thousands of years for Indian weddings and birthing ceremonies. It is also believed to bring good luck and to promote well being.
