20 card set on sturdy 14 point cover stock presented in hand crafted paper portfolio.
Inspired by turn of the century cigarette cards, this set of 20 portraits imagines an alternative history of monkeys in a Steampunk* world. Each card measures 2 1/4" x 4" printed in color both sides onto sturdy 14 pt.cover stock. Front side portrait of each has its own informative biography and field of expertise on reverse side. Set is packaged in handmade paper portfolio and each comes with Victorian era styled handbill.

*Steampunk- A sub-genre of fantasy and speculative fiction that came into prominence in the 1980s and early 1990s. The term denotes works set in an era or world where steam power is still widely used—usually the 19th century, and often Victorian era England—but with prominent elements of either science fiction or fantasy, such as fictional technological inventions like those found in the works of H. G. Wells and Jules Verne.
