This coat is an incredible find! Super cool, mod-style orange and yellow coat with a wacky, squiggly pattern! It has concealed buttons up the front and a big sparkly crystal button at the top! It is so luxurious and made out of 100% silk. Amazing labels with the brand and item information. The coat has one major flaw which is that someone has cut a makeshift buttonhole directly into the brocade fabric at the top of the collar (see 5th photo). This area has become rather frayed. This could be repaired by someone who knows how to do bound buttonholes.
It has a swinging, trapeze fit which means it could fit people of many sizes. The main limiting factor in terms of fit will be the length of the sleeves.
This is from the late 1950s or early 1960s.
