Yet another foray into dog sweater design inspired by afghans of the 70's. But not your granny's choice of yarn - no acrylic here!! Only premium, luxe, natural fibers are used here. A beautiful variegated mohair (lime green, turquoise, coral, pink) makes up the double-thick circular centers of the granny squares. The square edges are are formed when the motifs are joined by crochet. The burnt orange yarn is an American made wool with a 15% mohair content.
The supremely warm combination of yarns is further enhanced by the textured rib pattern used for the turtleneck, the edges and the legs. the rib is dimensionally deep, trapping extra warmth. It is also a reversible rib so that the rolled back portion of the turtleneck is as handsome as the rest of the sweater,
