This hat is one of my favorites and will be hard to part with. I covered this hat with brown pleather (PVC, vinyl) fabric. I added piping, and brown velvet ribbon with chording details along with a brown velvet and satin knife pleat hat band.
I created and added to the side a "flower" created by covering an extra large button with brown pleather, adding a ton of clock work gears and pins, and then surrounded it with more of the satin knife pleat ribbon - to create petals.
To the back I added a fabulous iridescent two toned Rooster Coque feathers in greenish black with red edges. Along with several additional black hand curled Turkey marabou feathers cascading up the crown and down off the back brim of the hat. To top it off I added a handmade fabric bow. The underside of the hat is finished off with a black satin lining and black velvet and satin knife pleat ribbon.
This hat is very glam. Perfect for a party night out.
The hat is 6" wide and 4" tall.
Hat has a hair comb attached to the underside for holding it to your head. You can wear it all day and hardly know it's there.
This hat is great for a New Years Eve hat, for costumes, Halloween, Masquerades, Weddings or any other fancy dress occasions as well as perfect club gear for Retro, Lolita, Steampunk, Victorian, Gothic, Burlesque, Pinup, Industrial, Punk, Vampire, Cyber, Harajuku, Cosplay, Circus Couture & Burning Man styles.
