Who's Billie Holiday?
Billie Holiday was a singer and songwriter who had a tremendous impact on the jazz gere during the mid 1900s. Holiday's unique singing style (inspired by jazz instruments) opened people's eyes to new ways of musical expression. With a number of hit records and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, her role in music history will always be remembered.
This multi-colored design has a gritty street feel to it, inspired by the early events of Holiday's life. The design features an image of Holiday, at the mic singing, in the foreground in shades of black and grey with cyan accessories. The background for the design is a distressed yellow brick wall. Holiday points out that with a little patience anything is possible.
