Most of this literature was filled with children’s drawings and mundane notes in elegant cursive. The pages have aged to be slightly crispy and yellow. Old books age beautifully. I recycled my favorites and made them wall ready as clocks.
This book clock hangs with hardware in the rear, just add nail. The motor is hidden in the hollowed center. An additional secret compartment can secure your hope diamond or whatever. The spine and pages are reinforced and resist drooping. The front cover opens for easy battery access (which is included) and seals with magnets.
