The earwire is 20 gauge sterling silver.
Although light reflects off of them they are more of a flat matte finish than shiny.
The earring measures about 2 1/2 - 2 3/4" (6.3-7cm ) from the top loop of the earring to the bottom. The earwire adds about 5/8" (1.9 cm) making it a total length of about 2 7/8-3 1/8" (7.3-8cm) from the very top of the earwire to the bottom of the earring.The widest part across is about 1 7/8-2 1/8"(4.8-5.3cm).
This design can be made in a smaller sizer if you prefer. Let us know what size you would prefer and we can probably accommodate you.

Aluminum does not tarnish like silver does. It may become a little duller over time. It can be washed in soapy water and shined up with a polishing cloth.
