Vespera– evening prayers – After a long day of work at the office or at home, this is exactly the answer to my prayers. This effective espinner may be used for spinning any type of fiber or plying. Speed is infinitely adjustable for the beginner or pro. Vespera is great for teaching, allowing students to freely use both hands and better yet concentrate on only their hands. Vespera is the perfect choice for anyone having trouble treadling or is just unable to use a traditional type spinning wheel. This electric spinner would be great for someone that desires to make a profit by handspinning yarns. The speed and ease will allow you to produce much faster than with a traditional wheel.
Even the best of spinners out there, are made of plywood, but Vespera is solid red oak, no laminate and no pvc pipe. All the wood is hand crafted and hand selected for each and every wheel. One person only, makes your spinnerl, no assembly line. Vespera is made by someone that not only designed your wheel but is the maker of it as well. Vespera is a custom handcrafted electric spinner or electric spinning wheel, that we’ve engineered to be simple and beautiful. Vespera frame is made completely out of hand-selected red oak. Vespera is delivered to you completely assembled; out of the box you’ll be up and spinning in minutes. Vespera is a tabletop model, so just place it on your coffee table, plug in your motor and you are off.
The flyer is made of red oak as well, with spring clips to make level winding quick and easy. The flyer shaft is aluminum and very attractive against the red oak frame. The orifice of the flyer is 9/16 of an inch in diameter for an easy feed at any angle.
Vespera comes with an electronic foot controller, which allows you to start slowly and add speed as needed or desired. The motor runs off of 110 volt AC. The spinner automatically spins clockwise, but give the drive band a half twist at the motor and now it is running counter clockwise for plying. It is just that easy.
Heavenly Handspinning's bobbins are very large. The bobbin is 3 inches in diameter and has a 6-inch long core and is capable of holding in excess of 6 oz. Each bobbin has 66-nylon oil impregnated bearing so that there is no wear on the flyer shaft. You will receive three bobbins with your purchase of Vespera. These large bobbins make plying a breeze.
Spin wool roving, alpaca, silk or angora - whatever fiber you choose. Knit and crochet the yarn you have made into something special by spinning whatever you need - from lace to bulky or a combination of both. Do not let anyone convince you, that you can not spin fine, lace weight yarn on a wheel with Irish tensioning. That is all I spin and a lot of my customers as well.
Vespera offers the following:
· Single Drive - Irish tensioning
· 3 HH's bobbins that hold a minimum of 6 ounces
· Each bobbin has a nylon 66 oil impregnated bearing - for no wear on the flyer shaft
· Threading hook or orifice hook

· Weighs little less than 5 pounds
· Orifice height is 6 and one-half inches and the diameter is 9/16ths of an inch wide
· Vespera’s measurements are 7 inches x 13 inches x 12 inches.
