A 50"X36" extremely detailed "day of the dead" style diorama replica of the morbid children's story, "The Gashlycrumb Tinies" by Edward Gorey. There are 26 individually lit hand-crafted "rooms," each depicting a 5"X5"X5" scene, all collected in a custom built wooden dollhouse topped with a working clock. Although it's primarily just for display, it includes a few interactive elements: "K is for Kate" is a working snow-globe and "S is for Susan" has a hidden switch that causes her to gyrate on the floor of her scene. It took four months of painstaking patience and hard work to create this piece, so I hope it goes to someone who will appreciate it. Although there aren't enough photo slots on here to show each individual room, the piece can be seen in its entirety at:
Please feel free to ask any questions or for more photos of a specific "room."
