For ease of use, the head of the pestle and the interior of the mortar have been left unglazed, enabling better grinding. Cleans easily with soap and water.
Mortar is thrown on the potters wheel. Measures about 3" wide and 2" tall. Pestle is hand sculpted and measures about 3.5" long.
All my items are food/microwave/dishwasher safe.
