The double image is a "Cross-Eye 3D." Cross your eyes until there's a third, middle, image. It will look 3D and be cool. Be careful your eyes don't get stuck like that, though.
Metal Machine Mask sculptures are made by painting eyes on old machinery to make a face, and hanging it on your wall.
