Here’s how it works: Pack butter into the lid and invert into about one inch of cold water in the bottom of the pot. The cold water will form a seal to ensure the butter stays fresh and creamy. The water should be changed every two or three days.
The French Butter Keeper is dishwasher safe and measures about 4 ½ inches wide and 4 inches tall. It holds one stick of butter. If you're looking for a larger butter keeper, please email us. We quite often have two-stick butter keepers available at no extra charge.
