How does mud from the Dead Sea become so highly concentrated with mineral content?
The Dead Sea is nestled between Jordan & Israel and is a salt lake nearly 1300 feet below the Mediterranean Sea level. Constant evaporation of the waters due to the region's dry, hot climate maintains the lake level at a very steady rate. After so much evaporation, there is an extremely high concentration of salts and minerals present in the mud. As the Dead Sea evaporates year after year, the salt and minerals which are already present in high amounts get absorbed into the mud at the bottom of the sea.

To Use as a Deeply Detoxifying, Cleansing & Exfoliating Treatment:
Using your fingertips or a treatment brush, apply masque to freshly cleansed and exfoliated face, avoiding the eye and mouth areas. Relax, and allow the masque to penetrate the dermal layers for 10-15 minutes. Splash your facial skin several times with warm water to soften and loosen the masque. Using your fingertips, apply gentle pressure to your skin, massaging in small circles, moving upward & out toward the hairline. Rinse well with pure warm water, and follow with a splash of cool water. Continue with the next step in your regimen.

To Use as a Gentle Cleansing Exfoliate:
Splash face and neck a few times with warm water. Massage ½ - 1 tbsp of mud between your fingertips and apply gentle pressure to your skin (avoid the eyes and mouth), massaging in small circles on each section of your face, moving upward and out toward the hairline. Rinse well with pure warm water & follow with a splash of cool water. Continue with the next step in your regimen.
