Printed in purple, the quote from Northanger Abbey is
"It would be mortifying to the feelings of many ladies, could they be made to understand how little the heart of man is affected by what is costly or new in their attire."
Printed in blue, the quote from Pride and Prejudice is "I hope I never ridicule what is wise and good. Follies and nonsense, whims and inconsistencies do divert me, I own, and I laugh at them whenever I can."
These plush pulp coasters are printed letterpress. The ink is waterproof so it won't run. "Pulp" coasters are made of paper, like thick bar mats, and they are about 1/8" thick.
The set has eight 4" round coasters.
