The bus is finished simply with oil and beeswax polish. The people are painted with AP certified non-toxic watercolors and finished with lacquer.
The bus is seven inches long and two and a half inches square. The largest people are 7/8 inches in diameter, and 2.5 inches tall. The smallest (the babies) are 5/8 inches in diameter and an inch tall. As always, use your best judgment about what constitutes a choking hazard for your little ones.
For the very young, some of my customers prefer to request all big people, finished with just oil and beeswax.
