It is emailed in PDF format and comes with three attachments: instructions, pattern pieces, and a Happy Together Pattern's Sewing Reference to help beginners understand sewing terms (also full of pictures).

All kinds of fabrics can be used: quilting cottons, knits, upcycled t-shirts, satin, silk, etc. It can be made longer for a dress or shorter for a shirt. There are also two ways to do the back: shirr or an elastic casing. I share how to do both ways in the instructions.
It has some room so it fits most children in each size range (slim to plus). Also, many will be able to fit a shirt underneath, so this piece can transition to fall and winter as well. How cute to add a long sleeve, a cardigan, leggings, and some boots for winter?
