There are few things as comforting and recognizable as Orion rising in the crisp winter night sky. A sure sign of cold, but also a reassuring reminder of the earth's continuous movement, even at a time of year that can seem so quiet it's as though the world had stopped. Orion follows us through the winter months and ushers in the new year.

These cards are simple and quiet, wishing a happy new year, with the Orion constellation letterpress printed in the background in a pale silvery blue ink, and "happy new year" along the bottom in a deeper blue.

• Each folded card measures 4 5/8" x 4 5/8" when folded (blank inside)
• Letterpress printed by hand on bright white 100% cotton stock with matching kraft brown envelopes
• Sets are packaged in hard clear plastic boxes
