Our spirit shakers are made primarily for adults because of their shape. They fit nicely in the palm of your hand for shaking up your spirit, calming your spirit, and filling your spirit with music. They are each handcrafted from sustainably harvested Oregon woods and non-toxic materials. We finish all of our woodworking with Clapham's Beeswax Salad Bowl Finish and we NEVER use stains. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. If you would like to see more of our boxes, rattles and spirit shakers please click on our link www.earnestefforts.etsy.com to enter our Etsy shop.. Wholesale prices are available upon request.
THE NAME-
We gave the spirits the name "spirit shakers" because we have witnessed that the essence of the living tree continues to live on in the spirit shaker bringing peace, joy & laughter to those who handle and experience them. They have been used for meditation, massage, music, and other spiritual purposes.
THE PHOTOGRAPHS-
These photographs are a representation of our sycamore spirit shakers. Because each spirit is individually crafted no two spirits are ever the same. The sycamore spirit you receive will be your own unique piece of mother nature's beauty. The photos were take in a sycamore tree in our daughter & her partner's backyard in Eugene, Oregon. The second photo shows the label that comes with each spirit. The third photo is of a few sycamore trees on the east side of the Eugene, Oregon Saturday Market. The fourth photo is of our woodshop or the "Sawdust Cathedral". The final photo is of us - Earnie, Ellie & Myrtle the wonder dog on the Coquille River collecting driftwood.
THE DIMENSIONS-
Spirit shakers are approximately .75" x 2" x 3" and weigh approximately 3 ounces.
