I surrounded the cabochon with plum colored muscovite ovals, Czech glass, freshwater and faux pearls, mother of pearl, and small marquis-cut labradorite. Throughout the piece I filled in with seed beads of various sizes and color. The piece is backed with olive green ultrasuede for softness and comfort.
The closure is adjustable with a sterling silver hook and chain.
Think about wearing this collar against rich colors: mustard yellow, rust, olive green, even navy blue. Black is always a good fallback color too.
The interior circumference of the neckline is approximately 16 inches with the hook on the closest loop of the chain.
This necklace took 50 hours to complete.
