This listing is for patterns for you to knit your own Norwood Monkey and bananas. The patterns include instructions and lots of photos to help you make your own little friend.
There are two banana patterns included – a freshly picked banana, and one banana that Norwood has opened ready to eat. The banana skin and fruit are knitted separately, so don’t let your cheeky monkey leave banana skins on the floor for people to slip on!
All pieces are knitted flat on straight 3mm needles (US size 3) except the banana stalk which is i-cord knitted on two double pointed needles. The monkey uses less than 100g of dark brown wool and 50g of light brown wool.
The finished monkey is 26 cm tall.
