This is an original acrylic painting on handmade rag paper mounted on watercolor paper. The image measures approximately 15cms x 10cms or 6" x 4" mounted on Albireo smooth watercolour paper measuring 26cms x 18cms or 10" x 7" .
I made the paper for the image from recycled printmaking rag paper and washi. The paper is gessoed, the image painted and finally varnished. This surface is permanent but somewhat delicate. I would advice minimum handling of the piece outside of its polypropylene cover. Please frame with acid-free mounts behind glass or acrylic as soon as is convenient. Always hang art away from direct heat or sunlight and away from humid areas. Only artists' grade materials have been used.
