Mod vintage robin's egg blue pearlized vinyl purse probably from the 1960's. This purse is made of a soft, but somewhat stiff, subtly pearlized vinyl in a lovely shade of robin's egg blue. It features a short handle made of a matching vinyl, a fold over flap which attaches with a snap, gold tone metal hardware, and narrow vertical gold tone metal trim along each side with matching blue vinyl inserts. The interior is composed of a central compartment, lined with a pearlized off white grosgrain fabric and contains an open slot pocket lined with a contrasting golden yellow grosgrain fabric. This little purse does show some signs of love with some small marks of discoloration inside and out, a little wear to the handle, and a slightly misshapen form from being in storage. In addition there appear to be subtle indentation marks along the front and back of the purse, which are only apparent at certain angles, and are possibly from other purse handles pressing against this bag. Overall though, this mod robin's egg blue pearlized vinyl purse is still in great vintage condition!
The purse measures 6" high by 8.75" wide, tapering to 8" wide at the top. The base measures approximately 2" across, tapering to 1.5" across at the top. The handle drop measures just under 6".
