Oh boy! It's my first pattern with a recommended weight of yarn! I have been helping out at my local yarn shop recently and have fallen in love with all of the amazing self-striping sock yarns in there. After days of gazing at them and thinking to myself, "Man, that would make a really cool monster!" I came up with a great pattern to showcase those cool stripes. Not only is sock yarn colorful, inexpensive, and great to work with, most sock yarns are washable, making them great for toys. Plus, there is always a bit left after finishing a pair of socks, and Quincy Q is a great way to use up those bits!
Meet Quincy Q Quentin, a very memorable monster! This knitting pattern from Danger Crafts will show you how to knit Quincy, the cutie pie monster made out of sock yarn. Since it doesn't take much yarn to knit a Quincy, this is a great stash busting project for all those times you've bought a ball of sock yarn (with the best intentions) because it was pretty, or you were planning to knit all your socks in the future, or make a gift, or heard socks were easy, or....well you know how it goes. This pattern is very fun and once you knit one Quincy Q, you will find you want to knit an entire monster family!
