Capturing the spirit of fetes, carnivals and make do and mend!
Each flag is made from paper covered wood, which has been individually hand cut and sanded by me, then varnished twice for protection and shine.
The colours in this necklace are:
•green and white origami
•pale blue
•pink and white stripes
•yellow
•green and white abstract
I try and use as much recycled paper as possible, utilising envelope insides, paper bags... any vintage scraps I can get my hands on.
Each flag measures 3/4" by 1" and is just over 1/8" thick. Together they measure 4 1/2".
The flags are linked with rings, and move freely.
The chain is 11" long, with an extender which can make it 13". It is made from stainless steel and won't rust or tarnish. Please convo me if you would like longer or shorter chain and I will see what I can do.
Not made for swimming! Avoid contact with water and perfume.
