All DressGreen soaps are made fresh from scratch with high quality oils and butters using the cold process method. You’ll never find any filler oils, animal oils, or mineral oil/petroleum products in any of these bars! What you will find are skin-loving and nourishing oils, protective and moisturizing butters, and high quality essential or fragrance oils. You will also find sodium hydroxide (also known as lye) in the ingredient list - without lye, there is no such thing as a bar of soap. However, there is no lye in the final bar of soap itself as it reacts in the soap-making process called saponification. All DressGreen soap is allowed to cure for a minimum of one month, ensuring a high-quality, long-lasting bar. And all soap is also pH tested and superfatted to ensure a mild, skin-safe bar. Each bar is a handcrafted soap that is also handcut by me (no machines involved), so there will be variations in size, shape, and coloring.
