I started with this unique folding knife that is disguised a a solid brass house key. It has a great vintage patina and measures 2-1/2" when closed the length increases to a functional 4-1/2" long when the sharp 2" blade is fully extended. I then added a swarovski crystal and have mixed two types of chain to provide interest to the piece. The necklace hangs 30" in length to the top of the key and is secured with a brass ring. At first glance it looks like a real key and is a real conversation starter hanging from your neck on it's 24" antique brass chain with a tasteful toggle closure.
