The plunging neckline, low plunging keyhole on the back, the body-molding jersey; and the corset bodice with loads of glittering water-clear prong-set crystal rhinestones, as well as black, white, and silver bugle beads covering the center all harken back to the silver screen and classic Hollywood sirens.
The corset waist is boned, the back zipper, zippers at the wrists, and the interior waist were all sewn exactingly by hand. Gathers at the front of the shoulder, long slit on the front, dramatic batwing sleeves.
It has fabulous curved corset seamwork on the back, exquisite hand finishing on the interior, the back zipper and the two at the wrists were also set in by hand.
I see this worn with a pair of silver flat sandals with clear rhinestones, Egyptian goddess style. This is an entrance-making, all-eyes-on-you, jaw-dropper of a gown, and these high end vintage Mackies highly desirable and very collectible. (Easy to see why.)
