I've always loved the backs of shell buttons so these vintage-styled slippers feature upside-down shell buttons. They also include a band of elastic around the ankle to keep them on busy feet so that you don't have to worry about lost shoes! I use leather on the bottoms so that they are non-slip, making them perfect for babies that are crawling and learning to walk. The densely felted wool and tall ankles will keep your little one comfortably warm all winter. My slippers are great for daycare, school, the library, car trips, light outdoor use, and sleeping!
This pair of slippers is handmade from a charcoal gray, recycled, felted, 100% lambswool or 100% merino wool sweater, recycled tan leather, and shell buttons. Each pair of slippers will vary slightly (exact shade of gray varies). I include a layer of felted lambswool on the inside of the soles for comfort and warmth. Machine wash with cold water.
