My barn swallow design is an original take on a tattoo style classic. When I was drawing the illustration for this locket I looked at tattoo designs as well as photos of actual barn swallows so it is designed a little bit by each. Also at the time I was living in a place where there were a lot of these birds around, in the Pacific Northwest. I love this bird, there is really something romantic about swallows. A high quality print of my original pen and ink design is sealed onto a 1 1/8 inch wide locket pendant that is constructed from brass and copper coated steal. The pendant comes standard on a 32 inch long chain that hangs to the rib cage. Other length requests honored at no additional charge. The swallow locket, like all of my lockets, takes up to seven days to print and assemble so please keep this in mind when purchasing for a gift giving occasion. It will arrive in a box with a bow suitable for gift giving.
