This sling holds up to the best test - children!* There are extra stitches around the rings for durability. The rings are from slingrings.com and are the best in the business. This sling looks great with the tail hanging down in front, or what I like to do is to wrap it around my waist in the back and tuck it under my baby's bottom. The lightweight cotton is so nice and breathable especially for summer. This is a great beginner sling, and fits easily in a diaper bag or stroller. Your infant should weigh at least 6 pounds, and up to 25 pounds inside the sling, but up to 35 pounds in a hip carry.
