I create malas to aid in your practice in moving in rhythm with the breath and the mantra. To complete the 108 bead mantra can take about 45 minutes depending on the speed of your recitation. The 7 bead and 21 bead mantra takes less time if you do not have the 45 minutes to dedicate.
A mala can be worn as a necklace, when wearing a personal mala it is not only a wonderful tool for meditation, and prayer, but when used regularly with a personal mantra many believe it absorbs the vibrations of the practice.
The mala is a dharma item and can be treated as such by keeping it in a safe place among your spiritual books or placed in a box or bag. But, it will soon become comfortable piece of jewelry as well.
